Thanks to my friend Manoj, I have become a little more technically savvy.
So most of you know that Amie, my lil' sis, and I are going to study español in Antigua, Guatemala. We are leaving early Thursday morning the 30th, and coming back late July 17th.
I am going to try to blog often while we are gone, even though I think we are only allowed 1 hour of internet access per week! Be sure to check back... if you are interested in my news ("noticias") about how things are going. Maybe I will have something inspiring to write, and maybe provide you with a "Spanish word of the day". (Free lessons for you!) As long as I can figure out how this whole thing works.
Hopefully, my dad & mom will figure out how to use this too. It's important for them to know what is going on..... =) Dee - can you help them with this...
If you happen to think of us over the next few days & weeks, say a prayer for our trip, our seguridad (safety) & our Spanish skills!
